Individuals Selector Types

There are three different types of record selectors for finding individuals in the Loar Families Database.

1. The  Surname Selector is used to find information on an individual by selecting a character 'A' to 'Z' for the first character of the surname. Then select one of the displayed surnames to get a list view of all the individual records with that surname. From there you select an individual record to get a record view of the individual's information. Some records will have a link that you can use to open a Register Report for the listed family.

2. The  Family Selector is used to list all the members in the selected family. To accomplish this, review the list of family names and then select one family from the list and then depress the "Continue" button. This will display the individuals in "List View" format. To get more information on an individual select the "Record View" button display on the right side of the list. Some records will have a link that you can use to open a Register Report for the individual's family.

3. The  Loar Selector is used to list a part of the Loar surname records by selecting the first character of the first name. This process will reduce the number of records that are selected. This process is accomplished by selecting a character 'A' to 'Z' for the first character of the first name. This will display in list view format the Loar surname records which have a first name matching the character selected. To get more information on the individual select the Record View link to display the record view. Some records will have a link that you can use to open a Register Report for the listed family.
