Loar Families - Surname Record Selectors
There are more than 3200 surname listed in the Loar Families Database. The Surname Selector is used to determine if the database has the surname you are looking for. You start by making a selection of the first character of the surname.
There are four steps to get all the information from the Individual records.
Step 1: Select Surname Initial.

The results of this selection will be a web page with the selected surnames displayed. The information is displayed in a list of Surnames in a "Button" format.
Step 2: Select Surname
Once the selected surnames are displayed on the web page, you can select the one surname that you are interested in by depressing the button with the surname listed to see a list of the individuals with that surname. The results of this selection will be a web page with the individual list that contains all those persons with that surname. The information is displayed in a "List View" format.
Step 3: Record View
Once the selected Individual List is displayed, you can select the Record View link on the right side of the list for the one inidividual in which you are interested. The results of this selection will be a web page with the individual record in "Record View" format.
Step 4: Register Report
The final step will take you to a register report if there is a link on the right side of the Family Flag item. Not all family flags have a register report on this web site. To see which families have register reports please see Register Report List web page.
